I’m a semi-college-educated pagan with three cats, 4 computers, and an addiction to crafts. That’s me in a nutshell. What, you want more? It’s my blog. Everything on here is ‘about me’. Still want more?

A Brief History:

Grew up in this same small town all my life. Lived on the same street in the same house from the time I was three (okay, we moved into town from a farmhouse when I was three) until I was seventeen. Then I abruptly quit school and moved to Washington (the state, not the city) and started school again somewhere else. The small town life [lack of opportunity, lack of friends, lack of a life] only aggravated my depression, and it was thought that a move somewhere else would help cure me. It did, to an extent, but it’s only been recently that I’ve been pretty well depression free. After two years of high school doing this Runnig Start program (where you take college classes instead of high school ones, basically giving you a ‘running start’ into college) I left and moved to another small city in Washington, where I attended college for three years, somehow managing to avoid graduating until I abruptly dropped out due to financial instability and a complete lack of motivation to continue living the putrid existence I was suffering through.

I moved… back home to the same small town I ran from five years earlier and found myself… happy. Content. Enjoying life, enjoying the lack of school stress, enjoying the space and the family being nearby and the relief from financial duress. And besides, the Internet had come to town in the form of DSL at last, and that’s kept me connected to the Real World outside.

I’ve been looking to escape this place once again, but it’s unclear just when it’ll be. I’ve got a good spot here, a great paying job, and an honest to god house [okay, it’s a trailer, so shoot me - it’s not an apartment, at least!] and dammit, I don’t want to give all that up for more finance trouble and a cramped apartment and stress.
